The Bridgeman Art Library was founded by Harriet Bridgeman, the Chairman of ACS.

With images from over 8,000 collections and more than 30,000 artists, the Bridgeman Art Library represents international museums, galleries and artists by providing a central source of fine art for image users.

Founded in 1972, the Bridgeman Art Library works with museums, art galleries and artists to make sure that the best art is available for reproduction. The result is an outstanding archive of images drawn from collections throughout the world, all of which are available for licensing.

With offices in London, New York, Paris and Berlin, www.bridgemanart.com generates income for collections and artists who partner with the library, trusting Bridgeman to administer copyright and reproduction rights on their behalf. “The key factors we have identified in our continuing success are the strength and quality of our collection and the expertise of our team. We are known for going the extra mile for our clients.” Harriet Bridgeman, Chairman.
