Adrian Wiszniewski

Adrian Wiszniewski studied Architecture at the Mackintosh School of Architecture before completing his studies in Fine Art at the Glasgow School of Art and receiving the Cargill Scholarship. He instantly shot to prominence in the mid 1980s and was recognised as a force in British painting. He has worked in different media, including printmaking, sculpture, neon and design (winning the I.C.C.F. Best Design Award, New York in 1993), and has been awarded several important public commissions including paintings for Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral.
