Lars Stenberg has lived and painted in Scotland, Cornwall and Australia. During the 30-odd years he has been painting he has often kept body and soul together with jobs that pay actual money. He has been by turns a builder’s labourer, teacher, bookseller, illustrator, new-media design manager, gallery monkey, social equality campaigner, marketing director and property renovator. He has been painting in Victoria since 2002 and is now a permanent resident. He lives in Ballarat and divides his time between family, friends, painting, gallery work and bushwalking.
