I was born in Whitstable, England in 1960. After leaving school I attended Canterbury College of Art. A four year course in which I specialised in illustration led to me joining a studio team in a London advertising agency, working predominantly on storyboards for TV adverts. A chance meeting in 1984 resulted in a job painting pub signs, this is where my passion for lettering coupled with imagery emerged. After a while I started to sell car painting via auction houses. Since then my own particular style has developed and now I am as happy painting a variety of subjects from large format panels 2.4.m x 1.2m to go on a car collector’s wall, to a pencil drawing of a family pet.
