ACS Drawing Prize Winner Announcement!
December 9, 2024
ACS is delighted to announce that the 2024 ACS Drawing Prize has been awarded to Anna Redwood.
Redwood’s work explores the intuitive connection between artist and artwork which is revealed through the act of drawing. In doing so, Redwood closely intertwines the creative process with natural, used and found materials. A member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Redwood has also worked as a war artist in Afghanistan and has several artworks housed in public collections.
ACS began a partnership with the Royal Drawing Schools in 2018 to offer a £500 prize to assist a graduate as they move on to the next stage in their careers. Founded in 2006 by HM King Charles III and artist Catherine Goodman, the Royal Drawing School is an independent, not-for-profit that aims to promote the profile of drawing through teaching and practice.
