ACS meets the Director General of World Intellectual Property Organization
April 8, 2019
ACS’ Managing Director Lady Bridgeman CBE met with World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) Director General Francis Gurry at the House of Lords this month to report on the positive economic and creative impact of the Artists’ Resale Right (ARR) has had in the UK.

Joined by ACS’ Senior Manager Kimberley Ahmet as well as other representatives of UK visual creators, discussions focused on how the benefits of ARR might be of particular support to the economies of developing countries and how the subject could be addressed within WIPO’s negotiating structures.
