Rebecca Ackroyd and Haroon Mirza exhibit at Zabludowicz Collection
October 11, 2017
The relationship between building and body is a long standing motif in ACS member Rebecca Ackroyd’s work.
In her latest solo exhibition at the Zabludowicz Collection, Ackroyd was invited to respond directly to the architecture of the gallery. Ackroyd’s sculptural installation covers the gallery’s floors, walls and windows, inverting the gallery’s space.
Meanwhile ACS member Haroon Mirza presents the 2017 Annual Commission, HRM199: FOR A PARTNERSHIP SOCIETY, which marks the tenth anniversary of the Collection at its London home. The exhibition explores the relationship between matter and consciousness, and features unique works rooted in art, architecture, sculpture, sound and music.
