ACS Prize at Society of Portrait Sculptors FACE2019

ACS is delighted to announce that the £500 ACS Prize has been awarded to artist Charles Westgarth for his sculpture Jose Luis Ferndandez at the Society of Portrait Sculptors FACE2019 open exhibition, which took place earlier this month.
ACS Managing Director Lady Bridgeman said that Westgarth’s “treatment of the facial features and indeed the clothing were both exceptional and at the same time, the portrayal of emotion and personality of the sitter are so well expressed.” The sculptors Charles Mostow and Nana Drewes Brondum were highly commended.
