The subterranean group exhibition, presented by Gallery Pangolin, features work by ACS members including Lynn Chadwick, Maggi Hambling, Breon O’Casey and Gavin Turk. Set deep within the ochre-rich chambers of the Forest of Dean, the presentation responds to the cave as both an ancient shelter and an enduring site of creative expression. Focusing on colour as an elemental force, the show draws from the spectrum of pigments mined at Clearwell since the Neolithic era, inviting a renewed encounter with sculpture in one of its earliest contexts.
