ACS Member Cecily Brown’s upcoming major solo showcase at the Serpentine South Gallery, 'Cecily Brown: Picture Making', will mark the artist’s first major UK institutional presentation of work in over two decades.
The exhibition brings together a selection of Brown’s works created in response to the Serpentine’s setting within Kensington Gardens. Tracing a long-standing interest in landscape, narrative imagery and the shifting boundary between figuration and abstraction, the show will highlight Brown’s energetic approach to colour, scale and composition.
