The exhibition, entitled Crossing into Darkness, brings together work spanning centuries, from contemporary pieces by ACS member Laura Footes and winner of the 2025 ACS Studio Residency at the City & Guilds of London Art School, Anna Pakosz, to historical works by Francisco Goya and Edvard Munch. The show explores the inherent human need to push through the dark into light, urging viewers to reflect on the vulnerability, transformation and resilience that come from confronting what is often hidden beneath a gloomy surface.
