Curated by Catherine Lampert, the major showcase marks the first solo exhibition of ACS member Euan Uglow’s work in a British public institution in two decades. Bringing together paintings and drawings across the breadth of the artist’s career, the exhibition highlights Uglow’s precise way of working; a technique built on careful observation, precise measurement and a belief that emotion could be relayed in painting through control.
