Frank Brangwyn and the Art of Japan
April 18, 2017
To mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of ACS member Frank Brangwyn, the William Morris Gallery is hosting an exhibition that explores the artist’s love of Japanese art, as well as his collaborative relationships with Japanese artists and patrons.
Brangwyn donated his collection of Japanese artworks to the Gallery, and alongside works by the artist himself, the exhibition displays rarely-seen woodblock prints by famed Japanese artists Utagawa Hiroshige and Katsushika Hokusai.
Until 14 May
