In Each and Every Turn of the Tide
January 10, 2026
'In Each and Every Turn of the Tide' is now on show at Gypsym Gallery in Cairo, bringing together five international artists, including ACS member Nada Elkalaawy, whose work reflects on return, repetition, memory and renewal.
Highlighted alongside sculpture, collage and mosaic, Elkalaawy’s paintings draw past and present into the same pictorial space. Repeated gestures and layered surfaces suggest memory is something accumulated rather than fixed, where acts of creativity become a way of holding, mending and carrying an experience forward.
