Marking Bachlitzanaki’s first solo show with the gallery, The Consolation of Imaginary Things highlights a series of wall-based sculptures developed by the ACS member over the past two years. The works reveal Irini’s exploration into the ways in which objects one chooses to surround oneself with can offer comfort or reflect aspects of the human self back to the perceiver.

The exhibition is accompanied by The Drawing Board, a short story written by Georgia Stephenson, which considers the emotional burden undertaken by the interior designer of a space.
