Paula Rego: Power Games
September 17, 2024
A solo exhibition of ACS member Paula Rego’s work will open at the Kunstmuseum Basel later this month.
Power Games is the first exhibition of Rego’s work to take place in a museum in Switzerland. The exhibition will highlight around 120 paintings, pastels and prints produced over the course of the ACS member’s prolific career. The collection of work on display highlights Rego’s incredible knack for producing social and political commentary using motifs drawn from literary narratives and children’s films.
