Sarah Gillespie: Artist in Residence, David Attenborough Building

We are delighted to announce the residency of ACS Member, Sarah Gillespie, who is the current artist in residence at Cambridge University’s David Attenborough Building.
For the rest of the year, Gillespie will undertake research on the Cambridge Zoological Museum’s collection of critically endangered and presumed extinct moths, as outlined by The International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List of Threatened Species.
Working closely with Cambridge Conservation Initiative scientists, conservationists and collection management at the museum, Gillespie is studying these specimens and contributing to the dearth of research available on an extensive range of taxa, ‘too numerous and too diverse to count’.
