The film explores the unique perspective of women artists in times of conflict, offering a powerful counterpoint to the traditionally male-dominated genre of war art and posing the question: ‘When it’s life or death, what do women see that men don’t?’

‘War Paint: Women at War’ is in select UK and Irish cinemas now.
