Marking the artist’s first solo show in a Czech museum, From Lines to Matter explores Kovařík’s long-standing fascination with classical themes of fate, the gods, titans and heroes of ancient myths. Kovařík’s newest showcase of work breaks free from the two-dimensionality of the artist’s usual colossal paintings and inhabits the gallery space with the addition of relief and sculptural works.
