Seeing Each Other: Portraits of Artists
June 16, 2025
Now open at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, 'Seeing Each Other: Portraits of Artists', brings together over 150 artworks to explore the mutual influence of modern and contemporary creative peers.
Spanning 125 years, the exhibition features portraits by, and of, several ACS members, including Hugh Mendes, Dod Procter, Paula Rego, and Edward Bawden. Through paintings, prints, photography, and sculpture, the show reveals the many creative exchanges that have shaped generations of British artists.
The Director of Pallant House, Simon Martin, is also a director of ACS and has a well deserved reputation for putting on innovative and interesting exhibitions and this is yet another example.
