Laughing Twice at Flexitron

Now open at Flexitron, Laughing Twice pairs new work by ACS member Rebecca Willing with that of fellow contemporary painter Henry Gibbs, in a duo show exploring the layered complexities of repetition, gesture and digital mediation.
Willing’s paintings reflect on the rhythms of contemporary image consumption, tracing how images are seen, remembered and transformed through habitual scrolling. Each surface of the artist’s canvases functions as a rhythmic record of movement and perception where layers of mark-making echo the patterns of attention shaped by digital life.
