Entitled, ‘A Good Tree Can Lodge Ten Thousand Birds’, the show presents a new body of work emerging from a three-month residency in Kenya and marks the artist’s first foray into pen and watercolour. From mangroves and baobabs to trees of folklore and imagination, the works celebrate the resilience, symbolism and quiet wonder of trees, rendered with Campbell’s signature blend of narrative richness, wit and intricate detail.
