Titled The Watering Place, the exhibition centres around a cycle of six luminous landscape paintings in which the artist reimagines the pastoral tradition for a contemporary age.

Drawing inspiration from Rubens, Gainsborough, and Constable, Tillyer dissolves narrative into abstraction, using industrial mesh supports to evoke the shifting, fluid nature of water and light.
