Curated by Mortlock and India Stanbra, the exhibition draws on the layered history of Cheapside as a site of trade, labour and exchange. Using unexpected materials and unusual forms, everyday references are transformed into works that feel both familiar and strange. Traces of market life and working histories resurface throughout the space, creating an atmosphere that is immersive, eerie and rooted in the character of the area.
