ACS Studio Prize x Gurr Johns Exhibition
September 12, 2026
Featuring artwork from this year’s five ACS Studio Prize finalists, the ACS x Gurr Johns Studio Prize Exhibition offers an exciting opportunity to see a selection of some of the most promising new talent emerging from the UK's contemporary art scene.

The finalists Benjamin Blanc, Rachel Coyne, Bunny Hennessey, Alexander Koch and Samah Rafiq will be showcased alongside Georgia Dymock, last year’s winner. The judges of the 2026 ACS Studio Prize are artist and Director of the Lucian Freud Archive, David Dawson; Director of the National Gallery, Sir Gabriele Finaldi; art dealer and historian, Philip Mould OBE; and the Chairman of ACS, Viscountess Bridgeman CBE.

The ACS Studio Prize was established in 2017 to help support the next generation of artists after a number of our members spoke of the economic challenges they faced when starting their artistic careers. Now in its tenth year, the ACS Studio Prize offers one student or recent graduate a £6,000 prize to help fund an artist’s studio for a year in a UK city of their choice.
