In the United Kingdom (UK), ARR continues to benefit living and deceased artists. Resales of works by artists of UK and EEA (European Economic Area) nationalities, within copyright (either living or within 70 years of death), are eligible for ARR royalties.

 

The right of Australian and New Zealand nationals in respect of secondary sales made in the UK was also introduced on 31 March 2024 and 1 December 2024 respectively.
